Speaking to the Star Sports show ‘Cricket Connected’, Quinton de Kock said that he did not want to burden himself with too many responsibilities when asked what his thought process was when not taking Test captaincy. He also said that he was satisfied with leading the Proteas in the limited-overs format.
“Frankly speaking, tough job is ahead. I have to be the wicketkeeper, go up the batting order. Combining the three formats, in general, it takes a toll. I don’t think I’m the person who can lead all three teams. I think I am very happy with T20 and ODI, ”said the wicketkeeper-batsman.

“He was definitely in line. Any captain would want him in his side.
